Days of Christmas: Day 3

I'm so glad you stopped by today!

I'm going to show you a couple of cards. They both feature the super cute Designer Series Paper: Candy Cane Christmas. I think this paper is so fun because it's using non-traditional colors for Christmas. The colors in this DSP are: Baja Breeze, Real Red, Garden Green, and Blushing Bride.

On this first card, I wanted to show you how you can also use a Stampin' wheel as your stamped image. This card is nice and flat so you don't have all that extra postage like you with with brads and buttons! That little touch of ribbon is the perfect accent.

Aren't the images on that wheel pretty? I just love it!

This second card is also using Candy Cane Christmas DSP, but I also used a stamp set called Jolly Bingo Bits. It has 24 little images in the set, perfect for a countdown calendar! Besides the 4 I have on the card , there is a penguin, a jingle bell, a candle, an ornament, a stocking, a snowflake, a candycane, a tree, a reindeer, a snowman, a present, holly, a gingerbread man, a star, a cardinal, mittens, a bell, a candy, and a poinsettia.

See how fun that DSP is?! I also love how simple these cards are. So fast to make and easy to send.

Thank you so much! See you tomorrow!
Heather

Halloween Week 3

I don't know how many of you have used our Stampin' wheels but they are great. We have pretty ones, cute ones, jolly ones, and spooky ones (plus lots more!)

I wanted to show how easy it is to create a card with a wheel as the only stamped image.
Here is my creation:

So, you see, it's easy to use a Stampin' wheel to make a fun card! You'll see more projects featuring wheels only in some of my upcoming posts. I promise my last week of Halloween project won't be a card! I'll do something fun! I'll also have to show you how I use my wheels, I don't use a handle! Stay tuned for that!
