October Stamp Club Sneak Peek.

Our first Stamp Club is October 18th at noon. This is a sneak peek of what we will be creating. Later I will post photos of the full projects. In the mean time...

There is one more project I need to find one supply for. I'll post that one when I get it ready. Here is a cute pillowbox that I made. I filled it with Candy Corn!

The pillowbox was made with the new Sizzix Pillowbox Die that Stampin' Up! now sells!!! This has got to be one of the funnest things in my new order I received!

I'm IN LOVE with my new paper cutter. I had finally found one at my local craft store that I liked, but I have to keep replacing the blade and the cutting strip. It started to get costly. But I love my new Stampin' Up! Fiskars paper cutter! It has a permanent divot that the blade fits in, no strips to replace! The blade is sharp!!! You get an extra in the package, but I don't think I'll need to use the new one for some time. I would recommend getting the refill that has a scoring blade with it that Stampin' Up! sells. I'll be getting this because some projects require me to use a scoring blade.

The papersnips are so great too. Very sharp and great for precise cutting. (I also recommend the Craft & Paper Scissors, I use mine for Ribbon ONLY)

I love everything I got in my order. The Felt Flurries are so fun. So many designs and great colors! My Stamp Club will be using these in December!

All the DSP is beautiful, and I love that the new stamp sets are die cut. It was so fast putting my stamps together so that I could start creating!

I'm going to post once in awhile, products that I highly recommend. Stampin' Up! has such high quality items that I reccomend them all...but I'm going to feature some of my favorites on my blog. So watch for that.

Today my recommendation is the Paper Cutter that I talked about a little earlier in this post. It's my favorite!! Definatley worth the price of $24.95!

Deer Friends

This stamp is part of a hostess set called Deer Friends. It’s super cute! I wanted to make a sample with it and post it on here. I’m sure I’ll be making more samples with it. Probably even using it on my Christmas Treat containers…whatever I choose those to be. I used two of the new In Colors: Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss. I think these colors are going to be my Christmas cards. I also love the blues in the In Colors…and I have a cute snowflake set (that’s retired) that I really want to use. That’s a decision I’ll have to come to later!

Sock Monkey

I think I have a love/hate relationship with the Sock Monkey. When I first saw him in the catalog my exact thoughts were “yuck”. But now….I’ve traded some items to get him. He arrived today. I wanted to try my hand at making some cute cards with him. What do you think? I may use him for a Stamp Club project later on.

Stampin’ Up! has added a new product to their line. The Sizzix Big Shot! It is a multipurpose die-cut machine, in black….and I want one! I have a Cuttlebug, and I have the original red Sizzix machine. But this one can take me to even higher levels! Stampin’ Up! has added some dies that are…well…to die for. No pun intended!
